Bio
Sasha Ki aims to create the unprecedented by crafting music that transcends genres and transforms EDM audiences. He brings a unique perspective to the electronic dance scene, fusing sophisticated classical elements with driving beats and intricate synths.
Sasha Ki’s debut in electronic dance music is driven by a lifelong devotion to sound. As a young child trailing his mother to her rehearsals with the Omsk Philharmonic, Sasha’s life has always been focused around music. He immigrated to America for his formal training in classical music, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from Novosibirsk State Conservatory in Russia and a Master's degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. This has led to performances as a concert violinist since the age of 6 in world-class venues such as Carnegie Hall (2021- 2023), Walt Disney Concert Hall (2013-2017), and the Kimmel Center (2014-2023). Even with his strong roots in classical music, and still maintaining an active career as a concert violinist and recording artist today, the pulse and energetic layers of electronic music have always captivated Sasha, creating an irresistible call to the world of EDM production.
Currently, as Sasha Ki, he is creating innovative electronic music and writing for artists across multiple genres. His music often features his own violin playing and combines a sense of harmony, melody, and form that can only be gained by such a varied experience in the music industry. While his work in the EDM scene may be seen as a departure from his classical roots, it is an extension to his commitment to musical exploration and innovation. Join the journey!
